(WTOK) The Meridian City Council held a work session on Tuesday to discuss several topics aimed to advance the city in different areas.
The city council discussed several topics ranging from road improvements to new school programs.
The Meridian Public School District Foundation for Educational Excellence sat down with the city council to discuss plans for the program and its funding.
The MPSD Foundation had the chance to participate in the Meridian Public School District's "Family Night at the Ray" on Thursday, September 14, 2023. We had a blast seeing familiar faces and meeting new ones as well.
The Meridian Public School District Foundation of Educational Excellence was the recipient of six defibrillators from MS Power in a presentation today at the October meeting of the MPSD Foundation.
Chris Phillips, MS Power District General Manager, and Derron Radcliff, MS Power Senior Market Specialist were at the meeting to present the defibrillators to the MPSD Foundation.
The MPSD Foundation then donated the items to the Meridian Public School District for use in the district.
The MPSD Foundation was presented a check for $1,500 by the United Way of East Mississippi for receiving a 2023 mini-grant. Kym Parnell, the Executive Director of the United Way of East Mississippi presented the check to MPSD Foundation President Neil Henry in a ceremony on Monday, October 2, 2023.
